- Tell
Your Friends
Let your family, friends, and neighbors know about the threats to our nations most vulnerable critters such as the Florida manatee, the gray wolf, and the California condor.
|
- Support
Our Work
With your help we can continue our work to protect wildlife and the habitat which it needs to survive.
|
|
|
- Reach Out to Your
Community
We can help you take the wildlife protection message to groups and organizations in your community. This can include local Rotary or Kiwanis Clubs, schools, religious institutions, or other community groups. You could also attend events in your area – many communities have opportunities such as Earth Day events and local fairs to raise awareness of wildlife issues.
|
- Coordinate a Wildlife
Outing or Other Activist Event
Pull together a group to visit a local wildlife refuge or go on a birding outing. You could also host a house party bringing together friends and family to discuss wildlife protection issues and write letters to your elected officials.
|
- Volunteer For
Wildlife
You can dig right in and participate in volunteer opportunities from invasive species removal to bird counts. Individuals across the country can work with groups like Defenders or local, state, and federal land and wildlife management agencies to help protect species and habitat directly.
