Through her work with
Talking Talons and as a teacher, K.T. Labadie educates her
4th and 5th grade students how
important habitat restoration is to the survival of
endangered species. Her students go out on field trips at
a local creek where they assist in restoring the banks of
the creek for the benefit of resident wildlife. K.T. and
her students also routinely write letters to their
Senators on the importance of protecting endangered
species. Source: Personal Interview
